We then use a “hooping” process to load it onto our embroidery machine. Our embroidery service is ideal for adding decorative elements to clothing, accessories, and home décor items. Our Embroidery Process

  • We accept artwork from our customers, or our graphics department can create an original design for you.
  • Once the customer has approved the design, the artwork is loaded into digitizing software. Digitizing takes every detail of the artwork and turns it into stitches.
  • This software is then sent to the embroidery machine.
  • Artwork between 2 - 5 inches wide usually comprise 2,000 - 10,000 individual stitches.
  • The garment is then “hooped,” taking a bracket interlocked in the machine’s structure and attaching it to the garment. The bracket has a top and a bottom piece.
  • The garment and a piece of backing material, usually used to give the needle and thread to bite onto, are placed between the top and bottom parts of the bracket.
  • The hooped garment is then placed on the machine and locked into place.
  • Once all the settings on the machine are calibrated for the type of hoop, artwork, and garment, we start the machine.
  • We repeat the process for all garments, remove the hoop, and clean the loose threads on the back side of the garment with a small pair of snips.
